Question - What do Alex Ross, Alex Maleev, Sara Pichelli, Alan Davis, Pascal Campion, Pasqual Ferry, Joe Quinones, Simone Bianchi, Dave Dorman, Stan Sakai, Mike McKone, Dale Keown, Stephanie Hans, David Peterson, Mike Mayhew, Mike Deodato, Mark Brooks, John Tyler Christopher, Greg Land, John Cassady, Jenny Frison, Amanda Conner, Skottie Young and Bob McLeod have in common THIS WEEK?

Answer - They ALL have variant covers of Star Wars #1 coming out... and that's not even all of them!

The release of Star Wars #1 from Marvel Comics this week is perhaps the publishing coup of the year, and you certainly can't say that Marvel and Disney and Lucasfilm haven't gone all out with the covers!

This is the main release cover...

Which is fine, and classic, and apporpriate and all///

Marvel is giving the Inhumans another title, "Uncanny Inhumans," from Soule and McNiven.

IGN: The use of the "uncanny" adjective is quite interesting, as it was originally used with the X-Men. In a way, it feels like Marvel has been pushing the Inhumans to be the new X-Men of the Marvel U, and this title certainly reinforces that idea. How did you land on the title of Uncanny Inhumans?

Soule:
Uncanny has been used in the Marvel Universe to refer to a number of different books - I mean, there's Uncanny Avengers, and others. I wouldn't read too much more into it than that - uncanny just means strange, really, or unexpected. I think the Inhumans are certainly that.

Of course, the reason why they were called the Uncanny Avengers is because the team was originally supposed to be a combo of the Avengers and the X-Men (though that theme seems to have been dropped with the relaunch, with Rogue being the only X-Man still on the team unless you want to be generous and count Sabretooth too).

It seems that at C2E2 today, Marvel announced they'd be having a new Storm solo series starting in July, written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Victor Ibáñez.

I tend to give any Thor-related title a shot, and while I haven't read this one yet, the cover made me stop and tilt my head a bit.

A no-prize to whoever first makes the obvious reference.
