Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat amongst yourselves.

So.... Star Wars Celebration in London this past weekend.. was anyone else there?

Rather faster than expected, Great Britain has a new Prime Minister, Theresa May, who immediately showed she has a strong, but REALLY warped, sense of humour, by appointing uber-buffoon Boris Johnson our new Foreign Minister... and in a twist worthy of a sitcom, made him share a taxpayer-funded mansion with Liam Fox and David Davis.

But let's not just mock the British political situation, not when we have America on hand!

And then Melania Trump goes one step beyond wearing the same outfit as Michele Obama, she gave much of the same speech.

Back in the real world, read about the women who took the Mercury astronaut tests back in the 1960's!

And there is what appears to be a teaser trailer online for a possible new Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future series; Phoenix Rising

Oh, and I've played the demo of the released-in-September expansion to LEGO Dimensions - The new Ghostbusters level, and got to play as the Ghostbusters ladies themselves, Gizmo the Mogwai, Ethan Hunt as well as Finn and Jake from Adventure Time! :)

The villainous aliens have the ability to posses human hosts, the other team must recruit their allies from a pool of human/alien hybrids who have inherited special gifts.

The equivalent to X-men's Jubilee, the naive teen who serves as an audience surrogate was called Voodoo and she had the power to see, and exorcise the evil Daemonites.

What I didn't know when I was 10 was that in the comic books she was a stripper. The way this aspect of the character is handled in the original Image comics is worlds apart from how her DC Universe counterpart was treated.

Courtesy of Nebezial, and just to be on the safe side, perhaps not the safest thing to view at work, but there's nothing OVERLY blatant.
