If you aren't reading Gunnerkrigg Court, you're missing out on a gem of a webcomic. If you are reading it, then you know that there's been some recent romantic developments with one of the mains...

But! Instead of getting into that, let's go back to a secondary relationship that began in the very first issue...

I do like things that aren't robots, but you wouldn't know it from here... )

It's that time of year again, where I pick up from where I left off in Gunnerkrigg.

Yes, Gunnerkrigg, the wonderful world of well-managed mythology and technology, the school grown from the Seed of Bismuth.

If you haven't read it yet, then UNDER WHAT ROCK HAVE YOU BEEN SLEEPING?

*ehem*

I mean, go read it :)

And in this chapter, well.... Parley and Smitty are in this one.

Smile, I command you :D )

Remember this page from Chapter 20? (If not, have a refresher.) Anyway, the current ongoing chapter involves Annie visiting Coyote to collect her wits again (probably not the wisest course of action) after finding out some very disturbing information about the Court's background. After nearly provoking an attack by Ysengrin, and giving her some lessons on the usage of the ethereal realm, Coyote decides it's time for Annie to go home.

Filling the request of [personal profile] mullon for more Gunnerkrigg, and [personal profile] box_in_the_box for Coyote specifically. This is a very spoilery and image-heavy post.

First off, have a helpful map, courtesy of Chapter 20.

I have decided that we are all going to read some GunnerKrigg Court now. Because Gunnerkrigg Court is very, very, very, very, very, very good.

Gunnerkrigg Court is the story of what seems to be a mysterious science fiction school in the middle of a fantasy wood, and of a young lady named Antimony Carver who goes there. Antimony is awesome, and if it were not for the fact that she is younger than me, I would want to be her when I grow up. I have chosen this portion as being both non-spoilery and a good example of Annie being awesome: Chapter Four, Not Very Scary.
