Like that time Magneto managed to hypnotise the Worthingtons with magnetism, which was even by Stan Lee's shaky grasp on science pretty out there.

I mean, there is a correlation between magnetism and gravity...but yes, there's no wait to disrupt an anti-gravity field by somehow inducing magnetism.

Well, in the marvel universe, Magneto uses magnetism of affect gravity, so there migh be a connection that does not exists in our universe.
Or Magneto knows things about magnetism ahead of our general tech level.
