There’s something that feels a little gross to me about this premise. It’s not like it’d be unrealistic that two folks would fall in love when it’s nothing but the two of them and next tono hope of undoing the situation, but... I don’t know, I can’t find the right words.

The gross part is "now that MJ has borne another man's children, her fate is inexorably tied to his and you have to shut up about her and Peter getting back together".

With a bonus "it's possible for a woman to give birth to two children with no medical assistance except for the father (a non-midwife and non-OB-Gyn), and not only survive but also look exactly the same afterwards".

But that's assuming the kids are hers.

Looking at how the kids are mini-me versions of their 'parents', I'm going with clones.

There was also a theory that they're the Generic Death God With Tiny Skull Decorations, split into separate beings so they can raise him to be good. That would be almost clever, tbh, especially as it would explain why MJ is so aggressively dedicated to raising them and keeping them away from Peter (who Generic Death God wanted to eat).
