I've loved this ever since friends introduced me to it back in the late '90s or early 2000s... truly a wild story. There was a time -- long ago now, alas -- when I took inspiration from the title for one of my online usernames for Livejournal but it's been so long I don't remember what now.
Somewhere around here, I even have a Rose Ring of my very own, though it's too small to fit anything but my pinky. :)
