The baby is restless, so Jesus and Buddha try to help.

I guess Eve was zoning out when God said to her and Adam, "Behold, I give you every green thing [...] for food." Nothing about urchns, sea squirts or snake legs there. It was only after the Flood that God expanded the officially sanctioned menu to include animals.

Deep-fried thorns would be okay from the start, though. I imagine the process would soften them. :-)
