Venom War #1: "Are You Ready?"

"Venom and his hosts have a degree of inherent unpredictability - not to mention antisociability - that makes for all manner of thrill-power, and also a fair amount of gritty character drama as various humans have to work out their relationships with this alien goo-beast. (And the many other alien goo-beasts he brings along for the ride.)"
-- Al Ewing

Eddie Brock has returned from the Garden at the End of Time and is demanding two things: his son, Dylan, and his Other, Venom. Unfortunately, Venom has left Dylan. Where is it now?

Well...

When Peter discovers the Venom symbiote in his closet, he decides to have a little chat with it.

And now for something completely different: Venom Horse!

Please let Al Ewing write Spider-Man. Or Gail Simone or... anyone other than the chain of weird man-children he's had for the last 15 years.

Also shoot Joe Quesada into the sun. Is even still at Marvel? Shoot him into the sun regardless.

Given the way Spider-Man has gone for the last fifteen years, can't help but feel that if Ewing did get put on the title whatever's going on there would claim him as well.
(I don't believe in curses, but if it turned out the Spidey office was cursed, it wouldn't exactly come as a surprise.)
Best if he stays well clear.
