This is the Question's first appearance in the mainstream DC Universe after they absorbed all the Charlton characters.

I was first made aware of the Question thanks to the Justice League Unlimited cartoon. The only other comic I saw him in was 52 and he died in that one.

The shading in that bottom left panel makes the Question look like wossname from Watchmen. Yes, I know wossname is modelled on the Question. I think this series predates Watchmen any way. I don't care enough about Watchmen to check and make sure.
