Having read the rest of the preview: there was a time when I'd say, "Excuse me, is this supposed to be THE WARRIORS or the train scene in BANANAS? 1970s New York was a LONG time ago."

Then two security guards stood by and watched as a girl was viciously kicked to the ground, and after, in a downtown Seattle Metro bus station. So it's not so implausible.

This is the DCU where time is meaningless. The 70s happened Forty years ago AND last week. Do not think about such things too hard.
