Desperately seeking scans? We have the solution! (Maybe).

Once a month we will have a requests post where members can ask for certain scans to be posted. Other members seeking inspiration can look through the requests and fulfill someone's dream. Posting a request is no guarantee of its being filled, but request posts will be archived so that members can look through comments from previous months and answer them if they so desire.

The most recent request post will be linked to in the community's profile.

I'd like to see scans of the Rainbow Raider. Or of the Bat-family being familial. Or of Dan Garret. Or of Ted Kord and his girlfriend from his Charlton days. Or anything with the Great Lakes Avengers/ Lightning Rods/ SWORD/ Great Lakes X-men/ Great Lakes Champions/ Great Lakes Initiative/ whatever they're calling themselves these days. Or of Deadpool and Siryn. Or of Deadpool and Death. Or... I'll shut up now.

You know, I'm really digging the classic Batman and the Creepy horror comics posts, so I just want to give the people posting those a thumbs-up in hopes that they keep doing what they're doing.

I'd kind of like to see more of the Riddler and more Wonder Woman (I know she just had a week, but it was awesome!)

A meeting between Lex Luthor and Clark Kent, the more recent the better, though the earliest post-Crisis one would be great, too. I just can't imagine it happening, and I can't imagine Lex walking away from it not figuring it out!

I know they grew up together in Birthright, so not any from that.

I picked up an Incredible Hercules tpb because of the bits of posts I used to see in old SD, and I loved it. So more Greg Pak & Fred Van Lente Hercules please!

I had this comic years and years ago, and it's disappeared since then. Scans?

It was an Alan Davis era Batman or Detective Comics. It had Batman & Robin going to Commissioner Gordon's office to find Catwoman (in the purple dress/green cape costume) lying on her stomach on his sofa and purring. From there somehow it's Batman and Catwoman going after Joker, and Joker shoots Selina with some kind of Comix Ray that makes her a killer kitty. Bats snaps her out of it, but she is Not. Pleased. with Joker.

And yes, mysteryfangirl and scottyquick's recent Bat/Cat posts are what reminded me of it :-)

I'd like to request, please -

Stuff with lots of B-through-Z-list supervillians, especially big gatherings of obscure supervillains. I love seeing a panel with 20 different bad guys and trying to figure out who the hell they are.

Scenes from before things went sour like Cassandra Cain being awesome or the Young Justice girls being awesome and funny.

Obscure but sweet superhero (and other) OTPs. Make me go "d'awwwww..."

Weird Japanese horror manga in the vein of Fuan no Tane. Some Junji Ito might be good.

There was an awesome series of posts about Maho Sensei Negima on the original SD. I'd like to see more of awesome/funny/sweet from Negima. (Are those posts archived somewhere maybe?)

Current or classic manga that are similarly awesome to Negima. Show me old school stuff that got you into manga in the first place.

Empowered, or other fun stuff from Adam Warren.

Porn, preferably funny stuff like the Red Crab of Communism from the original SD.
