This is really, really cute, except for the fact that Peej is a grown woman in her mid- to late-twenties (or early-thirties), and Terra is supposedly a late-teenager/early-twenties.

Actually, I'd want more young heroes to have some sort of mentor/friend relationship with older heroes instead of trying to figure it out all on their own.

Especially a young hero trying to do good without much perspective on what that means, requires or costs.

Except, Terra and Peej's relationship is less mentor and more teenage-girls-mutual-friendship-BFFs.
Which is a little odd between a 16-year-old and a 27-year-old

I always figured superheroing was a job that aged up pretty quickly.

Like a sixteen-year-old who spent all their time working as an EMT technician or an international relief worker or some other extremely stressful job would be able to understand co-workers, no matter the age, better than 'normal' kids of their own age.

*shrug* I guess it's working in these pages for me pretty well without seeming out of place.

I love both of these characters, and the writer, and the artist. That's got to be some sort of record. I mean, it's a DC comic, and there's nothing wrong with it.

Terra's 'sushi face' is one of the greatest things to ever grace a comic book.

thats cute and in regard to the Terra-PG age issue its not really that realistic its more odd since you don't see non familial older women hanging out with teenagers like their BFF but its still nice to see.

The expressions and closeups are great (like PG's "Feel like having some fun right now?" grin), but I'm also fond of how she draws character faces at a distance - the blacked-out eyes and sketched lips. Very cute.

And then there's the story, which is Fun and Happy. NEED MORE OF THIS.
