Especially considering the Bat-god that so many writers portray Bruce as now, it's pretty powerful to see someone beat Batman so thoroughly.

Knightfall was essentially one huge brawl, but this moment was a really great payoff. Too bad it was Az-Bats who got to take Bane out in the end instead of Bruce.
