My favorite Rhino story (it is, I'll admit, not much of a competition) was one that might have been in Web of Spider-Man or some special, and was along the lines of Flowers for Algernon (or, if you will, that Simpsons episode where Homer gets the crayon taken out of his brain), and Rhino becomes really smart. I'd almost swear that it was on s_d 1.0. If not, it should be scanned; unfortunately, I don't have it.

Partly cause I loved 'Algernon' but it really showed me a lot of depth to a character I never bothered to think of before.
Rhino was also endeared to me even further in another cute "Tangled Web" story where he played a supporting role to a story about Grizzly.
God, that series was so good... too bad it had to go away...
