Yeah, Nolan's said "no Riddler," so lord knows who he's gonna use. The more I think about it, the more I want Hugo and Catwoman for an expanded take on "Prey."
The problem with Eddie, for my money, isn't the camp factor as much as what he does best is something that... well, they pretty much already did with Heath!Joker: a person playing games within games with Batman, the cops, and Gotham in general. They didn't necessarily need to go that route with the Joker, but they'd almost have to with Eddie, and that would only invite people to make Heath!Joker comparisons.
God, Spacey was such perfect casting as Lex that it kills me how they used him for the campy Hackman Lex. Spacey could do the Clancy Brown Lex to absolute perfection.
Y'know, I'm just revisiting Twin Peaks, and I've been wondering how Earle holds up. I've heard him derided as being too campy, but I recall liking his sense of evil fun and brilliance.
