One for Retcon Day!

Captain America 611 (1 panel under cut)

The Avengers are discussing the outing of Bucky as the Winter Soldier. Guy with mustache is Tony.

I love Natasha.

Natasha's complete disdain for Clint's theory amuses me.

It's not like she's just defending her man, either. She seems actively disgusted that Clint could be so dumb. Which, I guess, probably hasn't been that unusual an emotion in the Avengers over the years. Sharp arrows, dull mind. Poor guy.

So we were stuck with a Skrull in office no matter what in 1960?

Don't be silly--Skrull-Nixon wouldn't have had a five-o-clock shadow for the TV debate, in that case.

Tony really looks like Jonah Jameson here. Didn't think he had gotten that haggard lately

I'm thinking that he's singing "We Will Rock You" really loudly in his head.

A Skrull, eh? Maybe we haven't been giving them enough of a chance...

Well, hell, if it's JFK-type change, bring on the Skrulls, say I.
It does, however, raise the question of just what Jackie O's place was in all this. Was she a Skrull, too? Was JFK just a really good actor and she never found out? Or was she just a REALLY kinky lady who knew a good thing when she found it?

And was a time-travelling Noh-Varr behind the fence on the grassy knoll? Maybe borrowing a stogie from Edward Blake?

Er... Well, I suppose anything's possible...

...if you look at Noh-Varr's original Marvel Knights book, this is relatively in-character, as long as he wasn't the one pulling the trigger.
