This is some aspect of the character of Poison Ivy with which I'm not familiar...I thought her deal was wanting to make the world safe for plants? Since when does doing her best second-rate Luthor impression come inti that?
If Lex has a scene like that with Kon, I think half of SD would sqee and the other half would squick, depending on how you view their actual realtionship.
If Lex had a scene like that with Kon, I would be in the squicked half, presuming the ...undertones were the same. Now, if Lex had a scene like that with Clark, on the other hand, I would probably squee. And if Lex had a more sort of "Luke I am your father" scene with Kon preferably with Kon not getting mind controlled *again* (how often do Supers get mind-controlled anyways? why can't we see the magic sensitivity used to cut their powers down to a fraction of usual or something instead of mind control them?), I just might have to squee because I am an enormous dork like that (and am rather fond of the original Star Wars trilogy).
Ivy has had many deals over the years. Always weirds me out to go back and read pre-DCAU stuff where she's a flat power-hungry femme fatale, but it *is* part of her history, as boring and inferior a take as it is, so it doesn't surprise me when writers go back to that when they have a random need for some one-off vampy mind control.
