ComicBookResources has the preview as Luthor goes to pay an old playmate a visit.

Ho hum. 2 behind the cut.

Or not. While I am fond of the versions of these two primary iconic villians previous to the 90's and the DCAU, if I can't hear Mark Hamill or Clancy Brown voice these two, then you lost me. What makes these two dangerous is their minds, and nothing I see here shows me that this is a mental chess game. Maybe checkers, but nothing worthy of these two.

And the art, for all of the details, kind of fails to capture a mood. (Just my opinion).

1. Luthor, the Lois robot is going to do SHIT against Mr. J. Just ask 10 the last Royal Flush Gang.
2. 1st page, 5th panel. THAT is what Joker you should be putting on the page. Not this goof.

IMHO this had so much potential after recent developments to see how these two interact, and it just does not read well (same as the conflict with Vandal Savage.) Only the conflict with Grodd had some genuine payoff.

I still prefer the bit from "Joker's Millions" when told he's got to pay back taxes on his windfall inheritance and one of his gang suggests he just not pay them.

"I may be made enough to go after the Batman, but the IRS? Noooo thank you!"

He's right, the IRS is very, very, very scary.
