Oh yeah, they're both good characters. Panchito could get a little exhausting to be around for any period of time, but Jose is a genuinely cool dude - in the movie, he's not only a genial charmer who's smooth with the ladies, he knows BLACK MAGIC! He even explicitly identifies it as such. Interest piqued yet?
