Two pages from Batman, Inc #6

Finally this title is getting to what I was hoping it was. I know people loved the recruitment of the first few titles, but this issue is all about Bruce Wayne taking control of Batman, Inc.

Old allegiances are reaffirmed(The Outsiders gains a new leader and the identity of the Hong Kong representative of BI, Blackbat, should make many people here happy), oaths are implied, giving membership into Batman Inc some gravity, seeds are planted, new villain Nero Nykto is not what he seems... in short, the issue is full of the kind of greatness that Morrison brought us in the early days of JLA.

But these two pages were my favorite(and leave two more for others to post later)

Not really convinced by it though. Conspiracy theories are fine, but if there is proof the truth tends to emerge, and with Dick and Damian in particular, their ID's are pretty poor. Plus it wouldn't be random online nuts who would be putting this together, respected reporters and media outlets would make it their mission to find out the truth and a few messageboards wouldn't make a difference.

That, and spreading 'credible' disinformation would require more than just a few posts on some random message board.

At least edit wikipedia!

It's too bad he doesn't have a hacker working for him like Tim does.

1. A respected reporter did put it together, Vicki Vale. How's her tell-all in Vanity Fair coming along?

2. Messageboards put stuff together all the time, they only do anything about it when it's funny. Given the times Batman has saved the world, I kind of feel like Anonymous wouldn't call him out, though.

1) I don't know, I never saw how that subplot ended. And that was BEFORE Bruce went public with his links to Batman

2) BatTroll1873 probably would... the one with the IP address in Arkham Asylum if nothing else.

1. Pretty sure Bruce hired her to work for him, but I'm not 100% sure.

2. Yeah, but, again, Anonymous would give Batman a pass, which includes DDoS's BatTroll1873's ISP into the ground.

I thought she abandoned that in The Road Home and admitted to having want to do it due to heartbreak and her not getting over the fact that Bruce dumped her out of nowhere.

"respected reporters and media outlets"

Really, there are none of those anymore...except in the DCU, where said respected reporters are ALREADY superheroes.
