Date: 2011-05-13 08:55 pm (UTC)Cap would probably be the first to disagree with that, I think. He believes, completely and wholeheartedly that the average person CAN be, and many more than one might expect are, though perhaps not consistently.
The likes of firefighters, policeofficers, doctors and nurses are the sort of people he admires and respects for putting others needs ahead of their own, and if he inspires them, then he is honoured to do so.

Doesn't really strike me on any emotional level, though. Kindof a "thing everyone should know already, that people like this can be everyday heros" schtick that's been done multiple times before. Except with randomly slapping Captain America themes on things.
Strikes me as pretty forgettable, really. Not BAD, but forgettable.
