Meet the Batman of Flashpoint. Batman: Knight of Vengeance comes to us courtesy of the team behind the Batman strip in Wednesday Comics, Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso.



I keep expecting him to utter, "McGinnis."





Thomas Wayne and Gordon drive to a meeting with Judge Harvey Dent, whose kids have been kidnapped by Joker. The judge rails about how Joker keeps on managing to escape Arkham.



Dent vows that he'll shut Wayne down if his kids aren't returned safe and sound.



My crackpot theory: Joker is Martha Wayne. Double-checking the issue, I notice that there's no confirmation of the character's gender either way. It would explain how s/he is still alive in a world where Batman's willing to kill.
