Nay thee I say, Secret Six must not die! I was just starting to read it as well as enjoying the ride!

One would think that because of the coming film of Batman next year there would be more attempts to keep Bane on the spotlight.

The benefit of the modern Bane is that he's an evolution of the Knightfall Bane. The prisonyard mentality is still there, but the venom is gone and he can be effective as both an antihero and a villain. I'll miss this version.

Honestly, I'm beginning to agree with him. I keep hearing from DC that that they HAD to do this, but I haven't heard any explanation of why it was mandatory.

And no one's explained why it's necessary to erase so many of the female characters, either.

I'm not convinced that they HAVE to reboot everyone at all, or that the reboot is even needed. And the company can choose to reboot or leave alone anyone they wish.

So no. I'm not buying it. As far as I'm concerned, the reboot is just One More Day 2.0--a completely unneeded rewrite to force years of storytelling to unhappen and to make characters and characterization disappear for no clearly defined reason save that someone at the company wants this to happen.

it's a reboot for Dc...the six is one of their sleeper hits. Not something to premier their brand spanking new universe with. Plus gail's been reassigned to do batgirl and firestorm.

Having said that, if freaking batwing, captain atom and deadman cahn get books,in a year after 60% of these titles have failed, the six will be back.

In the mean time we have *Gulp8 the suicide squad with deadshot. Will say this tho, Gail should just move all the six to her other books and make them supporting cast

Sounds like it was a 'mid pack' book with a loyal following. But the big reboot was going to make at least some of the characters unusable, so I assume they decided just to cancel it.

But I agree, I think it's a bad call.
