At least Ted got to go out stopping a missile. It's a little more heroic than getting murdered by a former friend for no real good reason.

And I firmly believe that BATB!Ted survived the explosion and is stuck on Kooeykooeykooey, waiting for someone to rescue him and trying to make radios out of coconuts.
