Why is it every time popular stories try to bring racial tension into the picture, the minority always looks like the antagonist?

I really am not interested in stereotypical bitch!fights either.

this is just a guess, but because they probably figure the white person wouldn't be there. Like if Karen were the sort to be the antagonist there, she'd be the sort to just aoid the party all together.

This. As if the racial tension is even needed in the first place, but on top of that, minorities just aren't ever allowed to come out looking like the good guy. (Unless the writing is horrible because the writer was trying to shoehorn in some already bad or off message and just using a minority character to do so.)
