Batman and Kyle Rayner have a friendly misunderstanding
JK Batman punks his ass out
I really do not know the context my friend just emailed me these scans, but it seems batman really does not want Kyle Rayner around. Anyway Kyle timidly attempts to stand up to batdick, but batman has the reaction of an 8 year old bully.
Ow man is an understatement, more like oh shit if sinestro had done that the whole galaxy would be screwed. Honestly I have seen Kyle attempt to punch Deathstroke and get his fingers broken rendering his ring useless(why he tried to punch DEATHSTROKE I have no fucking idea). In any situation where the person he can deal with is quick enough to take his ring, and the beat him unarmed he should hover a few feet away.
Anyway this is Kyle fucking Rayner he is not going to let batman steal his shit and shimmy on out is he.
I know Hal Jordan gets a good bit of slack here and there, but when batman's(or anyone for that matter) watch says its time to punk out green lanterns he humbly rechedules them(and the the guardians fire him, and he kills them all). I have never seen John Stewart get much slack from batman, and he snapped on the caped freak in Rebirth(One of the frequent pros of haveing less sporadic appearances), and Guy Gardner bless his heart still goes down swingin, although I honesly think bats and gardner are the closest. But in kyles defense this is an old story and he spent a great number of years being written as a new boy, this is likely the chump treatment he got from Wally "same age but better then you" west, wonder women, Martian in a more respectable way, Booster Gold, and I even saw Steel lay into his ass.
Maybe one day batman, will get a green boot pressed across his throat for all the shit he gives Green Lanterns...wont be from kyle though.
