Also something i JUST noticed, first panel of this page (2) stuff animals behind Timmy. First the unicorn room, now Stuffed animals I can definately see a meme with Timmy and his affection all things cute (stuffed animals, unicorns, Bunker.... Superboy :D

you know what? that pose, that speech, i can't help but think of Puss n Boots from Shrek... and now i can't NOT hear Antonio Banderas when he speaks :D

I have to say, this character makes me really happy. He's latino, he's catholic, he's gay, he's the closest i have ever had to true representation in comics. *well except for the totally out part, and i am not that flamboyant... okay every now and then i tend to use the word fabulous more than i should... and i have a gay-gasm everytime i see Nightwing's ass... or catman's chest... or What? Oh crap... i'm going nova again aren't I?*

all in all, a fun series :D For some reason it makes me think of Spy-Kids...

I like him too--he's campy, but a kinda sweet, earnest kind of guy. Now that you mention it, I can definitely see a swashbuckling streak in him too. :D

Okay, I love this guy. Good attitude and cool powers (psychic bricks? AWESOME!) Even getting used to the art. Not loving his costume, but I'm not a big fan of hair concealing costumes.

Not bad at all. Not a fan of the dress-sense and the hairstyle (But I'm an old fart so what do I know) but he seems fun, and clearly knows how to unsettle Tim (with HUGS!) which is always fun.

I am confused about one thing though. I'm sure this has been asked already, but does anyone know if this is meant to be the first incarnation of the Teen Titans? Or is Nightwing, Starfire, Flamebird, Beast Boy, etc still considered the first incarnation of the group? o.O

Well it's been implied (and Lobdell has stated) there HAVE been other incarnations of the teen titans (though they might be more like the animated Young Justice team in that they might have been covert)

Tim even says in issue #2 "This may be the shortest incarnation of the teen titans ever" so yeah its safe to say this is just the newest group

I am curious, though, if he's seriously Catholic, how does he resolve being Gay? Having been raised that way, I would expect the two to be kind of mutually exclusive.

I am gay and I concider myself catholic. What the church officials believe and what the people believe, as far as gay issues are concerned, are different. It is even different between parish to parish and preist to priest. Gay and c,atholic are not mutually exclusive
