I see Nemesis has the stereotypical intellectual disdain that "pure" scientists have for those in the messy, icky fields of biology. Or worse, the social sciences.

So Doctor Nemesis is what Sheldon Cooper would have been if he'd become a Nazi hunting super-scientist? Now THERE'S a concept.
