Hey gentlefolk! It's Thursday and you know what that means! More fancomics/art!

Yes, Jean briefly had tentacles. She was pretty good with them too, as it looks like Wanda is about to find out.

Generally I love telekinesis, but this is one of the few things comic books do with it that pisses me off. You can't just have someone rearrange molecules with telekinesis to do whatever they want. "Ooh, I'm changing my clothes into other clothes by telekinetically rearranging the molecules! Ooh, I'm turning invisible by telekinetically vibrating my molecules!" I was vaguely okay with Jean doing it back in the day, but that was because she was god-moding pretty hardcore thanks to the Phoenix force. (And even then, it was just changing clothes and Moira McTaggert notes that it's a pretty big deal.) Telekinesis is for moving objects. Let's keep it simple, folks.

(Okay, rant over.)

I've always liked the idea of Jean trying new things just so the Phoenix can get a good grasp on humanity.

Of course, after Jean tried vegemite, the universe was nearly destroyed in an inferno of rage. Still.

Hour and half sketchy thing. Colored for fun.

The Robins, ft Nightwing!

Stephanie Brown was briefly a member after her solo career, but left to join the Batgirls, one of two all female bands run by Oracle Records.

After the death of Johnny Storm, Annihilus mocked Reed Richards by showing him Johnny's shredded costume.

This is pretty much the first place my mind went.

Blah blah, this is my deviantart page blah blah shameless self promotion.

That would be pretty easy to filk in that vein.. probably run into a little trouble around " When my fist clenches, crack it open.. ", though.

Can I just say "late eighties Claremont" and leave it at that?

The punchline on your second strip in priceless. Jean can pretty much justify anything by citing the Phoenix and the fate of the Universe.

Telekinesis is a massively versatile power, depending on the scale it's used at. (The Wild Cards books used it as a possible explanation for many, MANY powers)

Consider the various levels of the power.

Macro-scale - "Classic" telekinesis, the movement of gross objects. Also can be used to justify things like superstrength to flight.* Micro-scale - Pyrokinesis by accelarating the friction between molecules (just as an example)

Mini-micro-scale (?) - Molecular manipulation and transmutation by affecting the individual structure of atoms and molecules. basically treating protons and electrons like lego bricks and rebuilding them to suit your needs. Completely impossible of course, but we are talking fantasy here.

* Byrne's "Man of Steel" Superman had a strong implication than most of Superman's physical powers came from TK, particularly his ability to fly heavy objects (He could fly with heavier weights than he could lift physically) and why objects he was carrying never collapsed under their own weight.

Though Kal never considered himself to be telekinetic as such, it's why Kon having tactile TK made some sense, he had the same bodywide TK field that Superman had, just used it in a somewhat different manner.

I remember Claremont giving Calisto tentacle arms in the fantasticly named series X-Treme X-Men. That had to do with Masque I think.

Jason would never make such a hideous mistake as white jeans.* Your comic is incorrect.

*May not be true. He did wear the dildo helmet that one time.

...Jesus, I knew Claremont had a kinky side to his writing, but... O_O did it happen? That's what I was wanting to know.
