ComicBookResources has the preview of this issue, as something is forged, made with impossible stuff. Stuff only found in dreams.

Edit: One more page, because it took forever to come up on my screen and I didn't realize how funny it was and worthy of posting.

Do so love the making of mystical items.

Hey, I resemble that last remark! I wonder what board that was...

.... "forged in his likeness".. I think I see what you did, Loki.
I can't wait to see how this plays out.

Have to say, the forging instructions are worthy of an issue of Gaiman's Sandman.

I think the first account of using fantastic ineffable ingredients to craft an unique implement was the creation of the binding for Fenrir, the Wolf. Nice to see an updated version.

Which is amusing considering the guy doing the forging is named after a variation of dream, is in the dream dimension and has the exact same speechbubble layout as Dream did.

I love that this book is about trying to figure out how to follow Loki's plots... and showing how others should not fuck with the trickster god :D

It's funny how all of these people think that Loki being killed and resurrected as a near-powerless child with no memories of his past self and an actual working moral compass has somehow made him less dangerous.

Some people spend far too little time around actual children.

"Kids these days..." The opening pages for JIM are a huge part of the fun of it. I loved Cadaver Thor. "Hold me?"

I am really glad Marvel allowed this book to live. It's weird, it's funny, it's fun to read, it's smart, and the fact is even during FEAR ITSELF you didn't have to read anything else to understand it. (I liked it was off in its own little corner and even its involvement, because it was covert, was also independent) And ultimately, it's this book I think is an example of all that's best about Marvel when they're on.

I love those recap pages. I usually skip those. Every part of this book has something nice.

Watching the ALMOST THE TRUTH documentary about the Pythons this week, it occurred to me part of the fun of Python--and I guess you could say the same of some like Kurtzman/Elder--is the way there'd always be a little funny surprise hidden everywhere you looked, so it encouraged you to keep going. That's the character of this book.

Once every month I leave the comic book store with a huge smile on my face.
JIM is always what I have in my hands at that moment.

I'd put a ring on that recap page.

JiM is feeding the trolls! It knows what we hate, it knows trolls love what we hate, and now it has brought them together in unholy matrimony! Surely these are the end times!
