Here are three pages from IRREDEEMABLE 37, the series finale...

I think we can all think of a few realities those Plutonian-ideas probably ended up in...

And so Qubit's mythopoetic cock spat the Plutonian's essence across worlds, leading many to go " Way to ape All-Star Superman! "

(Makes that Morrison foreword kind of amusing in retrospect, though.)

I think it's shameful to end on such a hackneyed ripoff of something everyone's already seen...but the perverse thing is, I'm sure Morrison is delighted by this ending. Sigh.

Why is that perverse?
It seems I really got to read All-Star Superman

He did what to him now? His essence among realities? O.o

A young Siskel and Schubert get a flash of inspiration for a certain socialist-flavoured strongman who was co-opted by an ultra-WASP as soon as the character turned popular and turned into a protector of property and the status quo.

I liked that better when it was done in All Star Superman.

The ending was meh. Cute and went against the very violent essence that was Plutonian. But something was missing...can't put my gay finger on it. *ponders*

The series ends with Qubit having another man inside him, if that's what your gay finger is trying to poke at.

Let's see....

Superman. Check.
Hyperion. Check.
Invincible. Check.
Omniman. Check
Homelander. Check.

I'm pretty sure there's tons more I'm missing.

There's Sentry, but we don't talk about Sentry.

I guess Qubit really was the smartest person alive after all. He either planned out everything that happened this issue or he was able to improvise very quickly even in the face of total annihilation. Impressive either way. Amazing what the combination of super genius and the power to invent anything one can imagine can do.

I like Qubit better when he was a pompous background plot device and not an obnoxious patronizing main character plot device.
