Gar is usually shown with a VERY furry chest, even Perez drew him that way way back in the 1980's... I'll try and dig some samples out if you haven't seen them.

Beast Boy being red will never stop being silly-looking to me I'm afraid, and his day glo shorts/skin pattern just looks odd.

He's worn some pretty damn ugly shirts in the past, though.


And yes, Beast Boy should always have chest hair. Hell, more superheroes should. It's not an uncommon thing in real life.

I did a double-take trying to figure out his feet. "He has ... Are those claws? From the bottom of his toes? That's just ... painfully impractical. Unless Gar only walks on ice. Does Gar only walk on ice now? I don't get you anymore, Teen Titans."

Possibly, I don't know. But here they're actually where regular toenails should be. It's just a really weird perspective. Something TOTALLY confined to just this singular 0-issue and not at all an unfortunate trend.

He has longer than normal toes, and the ones on his right foot are curled, that's all, you can see them in their normal position on his left foot.
