A Smidge of Marceline and the Scream Queens 5
Marcie and co. go to her dad's dimension, the Nightosphere (ie Hell) to perform a concert as part of their band's tour...

Oh Hudson, why are you so bizarrely likeable? Also, heh, Marcie and Peeble's implied relationship brought up again.
I know that it's done deliberately to make it vague, but I still think it's interesting is all. Even if an episode of the show proper got banned in Australia for implying they used to date and I think that a member of the production crew early on got kicked out for confirming it without CN's say so.
PS the Nightosphere seems a lot nicer than the last time Marcie went there, though Tree Trunk's presence is confusing.

There is definite subtext in the show, just not so much to put it past the 'maybe' category.

That creates lesbian-relationship subtext? Or, they're just old friends repairing a friendship.
Not that I mind them being lesbians, it's just not enough there to make a shout about it.

It's really not hard to read in.

- Says the vampire.
That simply isn't lesbian subtext, yeah, there's enough to giggle about, but to seriously read into? Nah.
These two read like two people who were close, are not anymore, and are slowly re-kindling.
But obviously, that happens in the real world, and people make lesbian subtext about there friends in the real world all the time, even when its not really there.
mod note
The point of subtext is that it's not written as certainty.
Re: mod note
She/he can choose to follow they subtext they want, I doubt said subtext - I haven't watched every episode of Adventure Time yet, so if I can be shown something more solid, I'll concede, I don't think I ever told q99 they were not allowed to see the subtext that I don't really think is there. The aim was debating it.
If it came off that way - my bad.

Then there's the other camp that seriously think there was something happening between these two characters as a story point, and there's just not enough for that to be seriously discussed, or at at least, not enough of a bridge to make that leap. It's mainly due to the creators relationship with the fans.
They make a story, fans see subtext, fans parade subtext through fanart etc, the creators see this, and push the characters a little further in that direction to egg the fans on. Now we have our les yay pairing.
