Injustice: Gods Among Us The Deaths Of Captain Atom an Green Arrow.

Injustice: Gods Among Us #32

Captain Atom fly into space as Superman tries desperately to get out of Atom grip on his throat.

Injustice: Gods Among Us #33

Batman's disastrous assault on Superman's fortress comes to a brutal end. As last issue when Superman and Captain Atom was fighting. Part of the fortress ceiling ice came crushing down dividing the team. Ollie got stuck on one side of the fortress with Clark's parents.

Ollie uses his head to make Clark not think straight so he could send a arrow with a hidden superhuman pill tape on through a opening in the fortress. Batman and team find the arrow. Batman tells Black canary they will wait for him, but she knows that Ollie is already dead.

I don't think Superman bothered because he knew the arrow wouldn't hurt him (Ollie was actually trying to distract him so he could steal the superpills Luthor had been making) and he didn't think the arrow would hit his father.

Then Ollie shot another arrow past him (with the pill attached to it, so Batman's group could get it outside) but Superman probably just assumed he was trying to hit him again, and that's when he killed him.

That actually reminds me of a story in the Batman:Gotham Night collection, where Batman had the technology to deflect bullets but stopped using it when a random mook got hurt by the ricochet. Because a deflected bullet is still just a bullet with a new target.

You'd THINK Superman would have come to the same conclusion.

In Supergril #0 (AKA Superman/Batman #... 48 I think? Can't remember the original page number) he tells Supergirl to deal with this problem by disintegrating the bullets with her heat vision, so that's presumably how he handles that problem.

I'd think that being faster than a speeding bullet would mean he could just grab ricochets out of the air harmlessly.
