Regrettably, with the choice of Lorelei I can see this being one of those 'I shall sow discord amongst the team by using my magical sex appeal to make all the straight guys fight over me, and maybe allow for a token implied lesbian moment until maybe Sif (ID she's in that episode) and the female members of the team unite to kick butt'
TVtropes are considering categorising this sort of thing as The Hathor Effect, after the Stargate episode which introduced the first full blown female Go'auld host and she's Hathor, in O'Neill's words the "goddess of sex and drugs and rock and roll", who immediately gets all the men on her side by pheremones.
In summary, the Hathor Effect is generally a first-season ploy by sci-fi shows to get ratings through sex.
I hope I'm wrong and that we get a little more nuance than that, but the fact that only the second or third Marvel character they've decided to use is one who has magical sex appeal as her primary power doesn't fill me with confidence.
On the other hand it HAS to be better than their last Thor related episode... I hope.
