Ah, man, the cloth black costume, young Ron Frenz art (inked by Joe Rubinstein), the Black Fox, even the recurring named police officers--this takes me back.

DeFalco is in my opinion one of the really good Spider-Man writers, alongside Jenkins and PAD-who-must-not-be-posted-here. Something about this character seemed to click with him.
