Valentine's Day 2015 - Nightwing and Zatanna - Young Justice 20

This post is serving two purposes

For one thing, it includes the absolute romantic and sexy scene that Dick Grayson has had in a long, long time, so it satisfies the Valentines Day criteria.



There's a movie debuting this weekend, a movie which apparnetly started out intended to be Twilight fanfic... I leave you to draw your own conclusions about THAT, and is supposed to be about a virginal young woman being drawn into the erotic world of BDSM by a handsome billionaire.

Instead, from the pages I've leafed through, and the observations of those I trust who have endured the whole thing, it's a deeply creepy story of a man with limitless resources and privilege stalking a female employee and pressuring her into a quasi-abusive relationship. (Judging by the reviews it's also a deeply DULL film, which I can't imagine improves things)

So Christopher Jones, the writer, has a BETTER idea




FIFTY SHADES OF GRAYSON!

and who am I to argue with such an idea? (I should make it clear, I'm not promoting this as a Mod, I'm promoting this an unabashed Dick Grayson fan!)

Isn't Zatanna supposed to be Bruce's age? Not that an age difference really matters.

Yes, she is Bruce's age.

But she doesn't seem to be getting any older than she appears now. Her species is listed as "Homo Magi" so perhaps they're like Marvel's Asgardians and Vanir, very long lived or have a way to stave off aging.

In the Young Justice Universe, no, she's about the same age as Dick, maybe a little older

Dick is clearly the youngest of the Season 1 team (aside from Superboy being literally days old) but has the longest superhero career of any of them, since he was the first sidekick.

Her father Zatara was on a Justice League member in Season 1, she joined the League in the five year gap between Season 1 and Season 2.

This is the Young Justice Universe, she's aging normally, she just started out younger, and was a contemporary of Dick, Wally and co.

Man I miss Young Justice.

I wasn't even really that interested in Dick or Zatanna in the show (although her story with her father and Dr. Fate was pretty great) but just seeing these character interact again is making me really miss that show.

And as someone who is friends with her exes, I really like that panel. Pretty much every time exes show up in media it's all very dramatic.
