If you're reading Secret Wars, you'll know that the Thors are the police force of Battleworld. They arrest those who break Doom's Law and keep the peace. But that isn't all the the police do.

From Thors #1 comes the most out there crack to hit Doomgard


There's been another murder of a nameless victim, and it's the fifth in one week.
On the left - Thorus of Egyptia, aka Thor the Green
On the right - Thunderer Thorlief* of the homicide division, aka Mr "never fails to solve a case" aka Mr Ultimate Thor

It will take something great in Secret Wars to top putting latex gloves over leather gloves to conduct a crime scene investigation.



And Throg is the forensic pathologist. Because of course.


*Thorlief being Ultimate Thor's name from when he was a nurse. Thunderer is a rank within the Thor Corps

This was a fun read. I like how Aaron has hit so many cliche cop moments and made them all work together. Like any cop show though I think I've managed to guess a couple of the plot points already, but unless it gets too predictable I'll probably stick with it.

At first I wasn't really feeling this title. I get the concept of "cop drama but with Thors" but it felt too much like a cliche cop show, with the Thors almost as set dressing. At least that's how it was for me. But then the plot kicked into gear in the last few pages, and I'm intrigued and invested now.

In fairness, the leather gloves don't have fingertips... but yeah, he'd probably want to just take those off first.
