NS: Details on the Telltale Batman game

Since I posted the game announcement, I thought to also post some of the first details about the up-coming Batman episodic adventure game. Especially since they just left me even more hyped for the game.

All the detals are here: https://www.telltalegames.com/blog/105073/first-details-on-telltale-s-batman-series-discussed-at-sxsw

What I found interesting was the central concept of approaching the problems and characters either as Bruce Wayne or Batman, which I think can provide a really interesting character examination.

I really like Telltale's stuff.

I think they work best with characters off the beaten path -- Clementine, Kenny and Lee from 'The Walking Dead' for example -- as opposed to having them be or interact with major characters from the property though. But it should be interesting to see how much of a dick you can make Batman here.

See, on this one, I'm the opposite. In Arkham series, which is a game hugely built on its action mechanic, I'll go the violence route a huge percentage. But in this game, where there's chances for much more dialogue, building of relationships, etc. (yes, yes, actions can be undertaken too) I wonder if you can try and redeem some villains within the game.

Not the Joker, though. Screw that guy every time. I'm not like Bruce. I don't feel like "saving" everybody."
