The world according to Hawkeye

Fact: One of the best series that came out in 2016 was Chelsea Cain's Mockingbird
There were a lot of good things about Mockingbird. For one, the structure of the first story. If readers read #1 first and #5 last, it didn't matter what order they read #2, #3 and #4. That's new for me and a bit exciting. The story was also told from Bobbi's point of view, so that readers were not presented with a literal and accurate reflection of what happened, but a version of the truth that was filtered by Bobbi's own perceptions, much like what Fraction and Aja's Hawkeye run did with Clint.
Fact: One of the best series that came out in 2014 was Matt Fraction and Annie Wu's Hawkeye. Not just because of the elegant one page story that appeared in #20. And not just because the Brian Wilson story was captivating and heartbreaking and is probably my favourite single issue story.. And not even because they put in that meme about the girl who started a house fire. It's quick, fun and surprisingly emotional storytelling.
News: After two issues, it looks like Kelly Thompson has managed to combine the good bits from both of those books in her new Hawkeye series.

Archervision
It's a bit like Tomb Raider's Survival Instincts. It doesn't represent a superpower of Kate's, but a visual shorthand in telling the story and exploring character. How does Kate Bishop view the world? This is how.

I'm getting a Madame Masque vibe from the cult. Should be interesting.
