Good point. Admittedly, to clarify, I'm not complaining about Marvel neglecting mutants. I support their attempt to replace mutants. (I'm not sure about the legalities of a character that used to be a mutant becoming not a mutant and whether Fox still gets to appropriate their storylines. But this is comic book reality and I'm sure a way can be found.)
