I love how the ongoing theme is "Everyone are dicks to Tony while he can't tell them the full truth about being from the future."

It's certainly a neat take on one's past coming back to haunt them.

I like how Danny basically figured out the jist of it, that's not a side of Danny we see very often these days.

My inner jury is still out on the actual story, but I've got to say, I love the premise, the art, the world and just the general design of this. Even though it definitely seems to have been made with Netflix synergy in mind -or is that just me?

Wasn't this from 2010? Netflix wasn't even a thing for Marvel at that time, was it?

Well, I can't say if it or isn't just you in this case, but I can say it's not Netflix-synergy. This was from September 2011...the first Netflix series was still four years off.

Besides the fact that this came out years before Marvel's Netflix shows, how is it remotely similar? Iron Fist and Luke are pretty different from their Netflix counterparts here, and so far on Netflix Heroes for Hire isn't a thing, nor have they ever met Tony. So I'm not seeing any connections.

Well, apparently it was just me, but the art, backgrounds, secondary characters and, disregarding the time travel framework, even the situations in the story itself all gave me a really strong Luke Cage vibe.

Like you said, Cage himself and the Heroes for Hire are nothing like their Netflix counterpart, so it's far from a perfect fit but I still thought it felt inspired by the Netflix series - even though Tony Stark is the main character and not Cage, it's putting him in a context he's normally never in and letting him interact with characters he usually only interacts with as parts of the Avengers, if then.

I didn't notice that this comic predates the series until it was pointed out to me.

Nightwing Restorations? Sounds like Dick Grayson's got a new profession. :)

I was driving through Louisiana, and in the middle of some small town I saw a sign in front of a house that said "Nightwing Investigations".

I was like "... well, at least he's on brand."
