He's had that kind of attitude at least since " .. me?

" I'm magic. "

He took out three guys by kicking some debris? I'm sorry, but my suspension of disbelief tops out at two guys with a single debris kick.

They established he was a mutant, right? Inhuman, maybe?

Because that's the only way I'm even going to start believing this stuff. I mean, the paper clips were pushing it, but at least that exhibited some measure of control.

Nope, Bullseye is officially vanilla human.

Just like Doom, Strange, Taskmaster, and classic Mantis and Moondragon. Vanilla humans are weird.

I thought Vanilla humans like Batman were all the rage by fans. Why is Bullseye scrutinize?

If I were to guess, it's because most of those vanilla humans are not just exceptional, but usually succeed due to extreme amounts of planning and preparation. This version of Bullseye, who improvises everything to ridiculous levels of deadly accuracy on the fly, is a bit much for some. Batman, Dr. Doom and others are the exact antithesis of this. Is it fair? Probably not.

Mind you, that Bullseye is a serial killing sociopath who suffers no repercussions from it certainly doesn't play in his favor.

My problem is that Bullseye is apprently on some Karnac level shit.

Its one thing to his his bonds with a ring he spit from his mouth after several ricochets. But to hit is bonds with such force that they shatter? Wtf how hard is he freaking spitting.

Batman gets pushback too, when he hits this level of physical improbability; hence all the "Batgod" complaints. He's always functionally superhuman, of course, but when he starts stealthing past Kryptonians with no prep or dropping characters like Grodd with a kick, some readers start to murmur.

It's not really a problem for me, as long as it's consistent. I enjoy Moondragon and Karate Kid stories, and Bullseye's way below them on the impossibility ladder.

Because Bullseye often defies physics.

Last I checked every vanilla human in comics defies physics. How else does Batman survive being punched by Darksied.

The art is nice overall, I'm a sucker for this style. Though there are a few panels (the first one, the bit with him getting the knife kicked out of his hand) where the main bad guy's eyes look like marbles.

I still don't really get this series at all? It's one of Marvel's stranger decisions.

I appreciate some aspects of the artwork: I love it when artists use motion lines to tell the story. A couple of years ago it, it seemed that the motion line had gone extinct in superhero comics, leaving each panel as static as a pin-up (the fact that so many artists these days come from or moonlight at pin-up drawing in cons explains a lot, I think). So it's always nice to know that some artists still know how to use motion lines.
