If you're going to do a series with a child protagonist, it would be probably be a good idea to employ an artist who doesn't draw children like they're World of Warcraft gnomes.

Heh, a little bit of movie synergy with the cop character (he was introduced first in the film).

WAsn't Hitgirl's dad revealed to just be some comic geek? How exactly did he train her to be bad ass?

Yo, Millar? People liked Hit-Girl the movie character because Chloƫ Grace Moretz was the bomb fucking diggity. Not because they actually cared about Hit-Girl the comic book character.

I liked her in the comic before the film came out and I think Chloe's overrated. (Nicolas Cage and McLovin on the other hand were better than their comic counterparts.)

I'm looking at the cover and wondering: where the hell did she get a child-sized motorcycle?

The only good thing to remotely come out this bloated wreck of a franchise was the first film. The characters in that were much, much more likeable despite being just as abrasive in some respects, but then just like Kingsman, I think that's the power of a good adaptation.
