Y'know, interbreeding villain origins (like, say, Joker's origin being closely tied to Black Mask's in the Arkhamverse) seems like a waste of individual roads to villainy, but the quality writing and art here, especially the tragedy of Talia, really takes a lot of the sting from that.

'I blame you for this' is unintentionally hilarious, though.
