Mephisto vs. The Silver Surfer

With fan speculation that Sigourney Weaver may be playing Mephisto in the upcoming show The Defenders, I thought it would be neat to revisit one of his first encounters with them, all the way back in Defenders #100...





You've got to love that last image of him.
Mephisto: Lord of deceit, father of all lies, flails around like an angry cat when mildly inconvenienced.

Didn't Mephisto first appear as an antagonist in the Silver Surfer's title? That intersection has kind of been baked into the character from his inception.
