"I am 100% anti torture and have volunteered my time to anti-torture and prison industrial complex work for close to a decade. Which is partially why I wanted to address it in the book. It's something I am passionate about." - Matt Rosenberg

Well that escalated quickly no wonder you %#!$&*% idiots are losing to HYDRA you jack@$$ are still living out your AvsX.

Thank god you idiots are owned by different movie studios because Avengers and X-men suck at
co-existence.

Also continuity error, isn't Strong Guy another ruler of Hell?

No. All that was undone when the last "writer" of the Thunderbolts comics decided having a team with Punisher, Red Hulk, and Eltrak on it was stupid.

Like the final issue was him saying it was stupid and undoing a bunch a shit he didn't agree with like Punisher and Elktra dating and strong guy ruling hell..

Not that I'm bitter or anything.

Nope, Strong Guy didn't rule hell long.

He did kill Rahne's son, however, so I have a hard time seeing like, half those characters tolerating him within a mile of themselves. Shatterstar alone would carve his heart out

Along with Shatterstar's matching pornstache.

Seriously, timejumps always lead to some serious WTF hair. It's like characters go "Hey, random timeskip, I'm going to grow that beard I've always wanted."

So, the petulant, childish, torture-using Inhumans are the... good guys?
Not... the bad guys?
(Oh, if only there were one of them with a skull motif! Then this confusion wouldn't exist!)

-"I suppose you're mad that we ran off to cause trouble."-
Plus, y'know, knocked their jet out of the air. ON PURPOSE.
They may be X-Men, and therefore unkillable, but trying to murder folks is... y'know. Awful. And not really funny.

-"Then leave."-
G'wan, Kamala! Run for it! Run back to the safety of your own title! Cast off the milstone around your neck that is being in this title!

Also, while they are utterly, utterly awful, it is sweet that Ric and Shatterstar are both trying to grow mustaches.

I know, right? I am genuinely, truly baffled by this.

This issue has some cute moments, from Kamala passive-aggressively growing taller than Quake in their fight to explaining all the nonsense on how to tell the Beasts apart.

You can tell the artist was having a BALL drawing Quake's faces as well. Those last two panels have some golden facial expressions.

The thing I dislike about people using torture in comics where they make moral arguments against it- they do rather leave off that it doesn't work, it's just about power and sadism. It's bad because it's hurting people, but it's also stupid.

And you have to think that Dark Beast, former servant of Apocalypse and rival of Sinister, knows a little bit about torture and how to give someone bad intel while they're doing it to you. With his background, he's one of the people most likely to have a few convincing lies set up with nasty traps at the end for anyone who wants to squeeze him for information.

Does Karnak's ability to detect the flaws in things let him know when the person he's interrogating is bullshitting him? Because I'm pretty sure he's been successfully lied to before.

Lunella rebuilt the device, so she is to thank for helping to save the Inhuman race.

But Inferno helped destroy Forge's device in the first place, delaying the destruction of the cloud, prolonging its presence on Earth and causing an untold number of mutant deaths in the process. He also shot down Sunfire and Alchemy when they attempted to destroy the first cloud, breaking Alchemy's arm. So yeah fuck him.

Kamala was just there, she really doesn't get any credit for saving the mutant race.

The writter says he's anti-torture and would address it in the story, but he has it be effective? What the fuck?

Rockstar games usually treat this subject better in GTA and Red Dead Redemption. Whenever the protagonist gains information via torture, it's usually false. Which shows that that torture isn't a good means to gather information. Here, we have Daisy successfully gaining information via torture, the writer missed the mark.

Okay, you know what? FUCK YOU WITH THIS TORTURE BULLSHIT.

This is now the THIRD TIME we've seen torture in this event, presented as both something that you do unless you're naive and also presented as effective. Rosenberg is even using the exact same language (i.e. 'long way from right'). We know for a fact that torture as an intelligence gathering mechanism is largely unreliable. A torture victim initially will refuse the information, but will eventually tell the torturer anything they want to hear to make the torture stop. And since that intel is unreliable, the torture continues. Torture will only give an answer the torturer generally wants to hear.

So, a quick question: what is Kamala's timeline, here?

In one title, she's with the Champions fighting the Secret Empire. From there I guess they've joined with Black Widow. How is she here with these people? Is the before that? After?

Where are Kamala's family in all this?

Why is Beast acting so aloof? I've not read any X-Men comics for a while, but isn't his whole character that he's a good-hearted and clever character? The idea of him threatening people is just weird.

Oh, and the X-Men laughing off the prospect of the Inhumans getting exterminated just feels wrong - considering how Mutants have faced that exact same issue again and again.

Some very strange writing here.
