Well, gee, Bill, maybe that guy didn't want to be seen with you at the dance because you shoot people in the back with freaking BB guns!

I got to the part where he was insinuating that a woman somehow wouldn't fit the office of the presidency and I couldn't bring myself to watch it anymore, even if it was meant as a montage mocking and exposing him. The rational part of me knows that people like him exist, but I've managed to avoid most of his kind in my real life everyday interactions, so it's a punch in the gut whenever I see something like this.

He valued his friends, who valued that once-a-year trip to the Bahamas.

This guy was a juvenile delinquent!

I like how "yawning while serving Mass" is tucked in amongst starting fistfights, tossing snowballs at motorists, throwing a cherry bomb at a teacher's house and shooting someone in the back with a BB gun.

Ha, these were the days when nuns used to clobber kids for resting their rear ends on the pews while kneeling. Yawning in church was a big sin, like eating fish on Fridays. :)

It was a sin to eat any meat other than fish on Fridays, actually.

I am not a Catholic, but I think the point of eating fish is that it isn't considered meat.

That is why bagels with cream cheese and lox are a thing in the Jewish community.

Ha, ha, you're right! It was meat! Somehow 'fish' and 'Friday' got connected in my brain.

It most definitely was a sin to eat MEAT on Fridays!

I plead guilty because of new meds I'm on. Gah, how embarrassing!

It really says something that this biographical comic - which I assume is meant to be flattering - still makes him look like a terrible person.

It's like the Rock and Roll comic biography of Vanilla Ice all over again.

Honestly, reading this somehow makes Bill look like a Batman villain. Which sounds like an accomplishment seeeing as this is basically an autobiography about him. Well, the 'flattering' version that is.

As a parent, the ones that come across as terrible for me are his. I kept thinking "right, so that's how one raises a Bill O'Reilly into existence."

Yeah, same, I find the dad pretty unsettling. The comic says "knockouts" but uh. Kinda avoids saying whether that means, "Yes, disobey and your father will LITERALLY render you unconscious." Calls him authoritarian, enough for a kid to mentally compare him to Mussolini, yet at the same time reverse and say that no, no, he's a perfectly good dad, just STRICT!

And yet this comic is also so squeaky clean that it uses the word 'keister,' as though it's somehow more okay for a dad to beat up his child than you know, say 'ass.'

Bill O'Reilly is a comic book now. Boy, spend a few months away from comics and you never know what you'll find.
