<3 the art!

And we need more Batman VS fights.

How about the Loch Ness Monster or something.

The Bear? Best villain name ever, or GREATEST villain name ever?

And yes, the art is flippin' gorgeous.

As pretty as the art is, I really can't get over characters who are speaking drawn with their mouths shut.

I didn't even realise that. o.o

Call me crazy, but the whole 'naive new comer' thing they keep emphasizing with this story doesn't really ring true with Batman, the anti-Boy Scout.

This seems to be relatively early in his career, mostly because no one in Russia is pissing themselves over a Justice League member kicking ass around the town.

Bears. My God.

So do we ever see the Bear's face, or is it always obscured? 'Cause that's kind of interesting.

Apparently everything's better with bears.

Batman's punching a bear y'all!

And he needs backup. Someone get Stephen Colbert!

Or Aquaman, to go for the bear shot-put!

Why does the guy in the last panel look like David Boreanaz?

S_D, I'm disappointed. No one remarked on "quite beautiful" yet?

Batman certainly handles bears better than Ma Gucci and her thugs. =D

While the art is, I admit, really nice, I really haven't been interested in this book since the Luthor/Wayne arc ended. I found that to be a great bit of out-of-canon fun.

This was all I was thinking about when I read through this:

DAA Bears!

I particularly like the expressions on the two people in the first panel, especially the lower one.

Is this the first issue in a new BC arc?

Whoa! I'm way behind. How did this happen?!?

Thanks for the heads up, SF1!

Well, THIS is interesting stuff. It's always interesting when the Batman is outside of his usual stompin' grounds, fighting characters we haven't seen before. The Bear looks to be an interesting opponent - one part hitman, one part Yeti. (Also, "the Tsar brings me faberge" is an interesting line. One wonders what it'll mean.)
