Man, I'd forgotten how good John Romita Sr.'s layouts were. It's the kind of old-school draftsmanship we didn't appreciate at the time. I mean, you can follow the story without any dialogue and it just flows so well from panel to panel. It leads the eye, it has a cinematic feel and carries you through the story. I particularly like how occasionally his work overflows the panel, such as when Monica's foot kicks out, giving it a three-dimensional feel.
